What about Realtor Fees-Garbage Fees-Take a LOOK!

So what are some of the fees you might see during your St George real estate transaction? Let me start off by saying some fees are necessary and those we won’t spend much time on…because every St George Realtor will have those. Commission, Title Insurance, recording fees, taxes. Now hers is the ugly part..the GARBAGE FEES! Yes garbage fees.

These are camouflaged with different language. Document prep fee, transaction recording fee, document storage fee, transaction coordinator fee…the list is long.. Mzany names, some confusing. My own brokerage charges a garbage fee…that I pay versus charging my clients! Some of fees can go over one thousand dollars!! Ours is a small ninety-five dollar fee (that I pay).

Find a Realtor that won’t charge you any garbage fees, most will negotiate them away if asked. Don’t pay more than you need to. Why pay more? Ask your St George Realtor if they charge or have any any junk or garbage fees associated with your St ?george real estate transaction.

If they do request that get removed. Don’t be afraid to be firm. These folks are trained to deal with your objections and for them it only “show time”. They speak from a rehearsed and perfected dialogue to win your cash over. Don’t get fast talked into spending more cash than you need to. Some of us cover the junk or garbage fees or they waive them with their broker. Don’t be a victim.
