Okay so you are visiting southern Utah and particularly Hurricane Valley. Now you’re thinking about what to spend your time doing. Well here are a few ideas I would love to share with you. Let’s start with a helicopter ride over the area! Check out Zion Helicopter for an affordable adventure tour. Located right here in Hurricane. A great way to get a birds eye view of the entire area including Zion National Park. If you enjoy hiking, biking or equestrian activities it just doesn’t get any better than The Red Cliffs Recreation Area located right here in Hurricane Utah. Actually one of my absolute favorite places to hike. Pet friendly as well. Click on the link and see what there is in the park. Literally something for everyone! Another great area to hike and is also pet friendly is Confluence Park. After you explore the park stop by River Rock Roasting and enjoy a great cup of joe and or a delicious homemade pastry or lunch. From the outside patio you can look down on the Virgin River and Confluence Park! The bridge spanning the Virgin River you crossed is the same bridge James Bond, 007, flew under in his small jet in the movie Octupussy. So boating, swimming or water sports is your thing well Hurricane Valley has it all! Check out Sand Hollow and Quail Lake and the rivers the Hurricane Valley area. haven’t seen or heard enough yet? Well if four wheeling and ATV’s are your passion you have miles and acres of off roading. All of this is accessible from your front door if you live in Hurricane Utah. You can drive your off road vehicles on the city streets to access the miles of off road experience available to you. Need to rent a off road vehicle give these folks a call Southern Utah Adventure Center. I have rented from them and they provided a first class experience. Located right here in downtown Hurricane. Hurricane is located on the scenic roadway into Zion National Park and Lake Powell. Plenty of lodging here in Hurricane Valley so travel in confidence. I always recommend planning ahead and making reservations. Several times a year the entire world comes to Hurricane Utah for various events. Hurricane offers some great dining experiences as well. From smoked and BBQ food, wood fired pizza and a great fresh Mex grill. Try Lupitos for dollar taco night. Like the movies? Well we have a great movie theatre Coral Cliffs where you can enjoy a great movie in a state of the art theatre. If golfing is your thing, well you just got lucky! Southern Utah golf is world famous and Hurricane Valley has the number rated golf course in Utah! We have it all here in Hurricane Utah! Including a Walmart!!!
