Little Black Mountain Petroglyphs & Real Estate

Even I get tired of saying this, but with over three hundred days of golden sunshine who is going to complain. Baseball tournaments, golf courses, outdoor theater, hiking in ourĀ national and state parks, training and competing in several events, some in preparation for the IronMan coming to St. George soon.

We finished 2/3 of our garden and decided to go for one of our favorite spring and fall hikes, Little Black Mountain Petroglyph site. Outstanding rock art older than me by almost 6,000 years. From St. George, UT, travel south on River Rd. 5 miles to the Arizona State Line. Three-tenths of a mile south of the State Line, turn left (east) and drive 4.5 miles to the site. This site is special and a tough hike during the summer…no creeks or water. You do not need a 4 wheel drive but if you have one there is no end to the possibilities out in the Arizona strip.

A strip of real estate that intertwines Southern Utah’s border and reaches to some of the lower 48’s most isolated terrain, including some remote locations on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, looking down on the Colorado River from cliffs high above. Live full time or just a getaway from the hussle and bustle now is a great time to make the move. We have 6 year old townhomes with pools and full clubhouse, turnkey weekend getaway for $95,000=3 bed, 2.5 bath and only 5 miles from Little Black Rock petroglyph site!!

Visit the BLM website for more information on theĀ Little Black Mountain Petroglyphs.
